Our Mission

Why We Exist?

Toward equitable healthcare for all communities in Ghana

In Ghana, many communities still face barriers to quality healthcare, from limited access to trained professionals, to unequal distribution of health resources, and the persistent burden of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).

The Health Equity and NTDs Research Institute, Ghana was founded to contribute in addressing these inequity through research, education, and collaboration. Our mission is to advocate for and promote fair and accessible health systems that reach even the most underserved and unserved populations.
